Results Announced for Vacant Seats in City University Scholarships for Yemeni Community Members

Details

The committee overseeing educational scholarships at the Yemeni Community in Malaysia announced the selection results for the vacant seats in the scholarships offered by City University, after completing review and verification of applications against the approved conditions.

A total of 54 people applied for the vacant seats. The committee reviewed all applications according to clear criteria including completeness of documents, residency status (priority to holders of social residency), proof of language proficiency, and academic performance.

21 applicants were excluded for not meeting requirements — 10 due to academic qualifications not matching the program, and 11 for not meeting residency conditions. 17 students were ultimately selected: 12 at bachelor's level (Psychology: 3 seats, Mass Communication: 3 seats, Journalism: 6 seats), 3 at master's level (2 in Artificial Intelligence, 1 in Cybersecurity), and 2 at doctoral level in Engineering.

The committee affirms the selection process was fully transparent and based on objective standards ensuring equal opportunity for all applicants.

Sincere thanks to City University for its continued cooperation and support of Yemeni students through these quality educational opportunities.

Congratulations to all successful students, with wishes for continued success and excellence, and hopes they will be the best ambassadors for Yemen and the Yemeni Community...
